Did you know it costs more than $15,000 to provide a service dog for a child in need? That’s where WAGS 4 Kids comes in.
The organization is the only one of its kind that places dogs exclusively with children up to the age of 16. All applicants must provide physician verification of disability as protected by the American with Disabilities Act.
All of WAGS’ dogs begin their training in a structured “cell dog” training program with a select group of inmates at The North Central Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio.
The WAGS 4 Kids fundraiser “Cleveland Have a Heart Bachelor Raffle” is Wednesday, June 26th at Wilbert’s on E. Huron Avenue. Click here for information.
